From Score to Song: Bringing New Sacred Works to Life - Seth Bergey

Join Cantate Domino for a reading session where your voice will help bring newly composed sacred choral works to life. Experience the artistry and craft of emerging Anabaptist composers as we sight read through fresh repertoire and learn more about how Cantate is engaging with these composers and their music. This session is a unique opportunity to engage directly with the creative process while discovering inspiring new pieces for your next program.

Embodied Breath: using curious exploration to find a more supportive breath - Rosemary Lebold

This participatory workshop will invite singers to a deeper awareness of the role their bodies play in breath support. It will explore the places where tension creeps in with compassion and provide exercises to guide in the process of learning to trust their own technique. Attendees will be invited to participate in breath and movement exercises together, as they feel comfortable.
