The Choirs
About Cantate Domino
Cantate Domino Ensemble is made up of 32 singers from across the US and Canada. Much of our music practice happens individually, but we relish the few times a year when we convene for brief rehearsal weekends and performances. The ensembles primary mission is to bring new music to life so that the composer can glean helpful insights about their craft and grow from those findings.
Conducting this fine group of singers is one of the greatest opportunities I have been given. We strive to bring an accurate and meaningful performance of all the new music we sing. I hope that through Cantate Domino, our work will inspire those with the gift of musical creativity to use their talents and skills in the worship of Almighty God.

About Canticle
Canticle is in its third season this year. We are based in Ohio, and comprised of singers from near and far. We are a 16 person ensemble that sings a variety of choral music and our tag line says it well "friends who sing together." We are a non-profit supported by Gracepointe Church in Dover, OH.
We are delighted to be a part of Ohio Choral Connections, and look forward to making music with friends both new and old there! Our group has enjoyed singing a mix of accompanied and unaccompanied music. Our group may have the distinction of having the most local singers.

About Oasis Chorale
We are a group of 40 singers of Anabaptist background from across North America who meet every year to sing a cappella music. We have toured in the US, Canada, and the British Isles and record a new choral album every other year. We are constantly seeking fresh ways for choral musicians to share God’s beauty with others and to sing God’s grace into our world.
The unique curiosity we call choir entails a small community of singers, a community of listeners, and sung texts as a shared experience linking those two communities together. Texts are containers for holding ideas; Christian texts include in that container ideas relating to the triune God. In this swirl of people gathered, music and art, ideas, and transcendence -- good things happen! We are grateful to OCC for creating a space for choirs to collaborate and explore these good gifts.

About The Tehillah Ensemble
Conductor: Dan Miller
Manager: Eric Lee
Tehillah. Praise to our God. The name and foundation of our ensemble rest on the translation of this Hebrew word. Our goal, first of all, is to bring praise to God through our lives. As a music ensemble, we portray that through our music. Second, we desire that through our music our audience would fear and trust in the Lord (Psalm 40:3).
Dan Miller has served as the artistic director for Tehillah Ensemble since its inception. In addition to Tehillah, Dan teaches music at Elnora Bible Institute, and is a part time computer programmer. He is excited to have Tehillah as a part of Ohio Choral Connections, and looks forward to both performing there and interacting with other musicians there.
Dan is a proud husband of one wife, Rosella, and father of two sons, Trevor and Garrett. He and his family reside in the small town of Elnora, IN.
